Kaleidoscopes of Time

The ‘Kaleidoscopes of Time’ (2024) series of large abstract monoprints brings together multiple aspects of my work – the bold use of harmonious and contrasting colours; a fascination with shape and pattern, as fluid, organic shapes are contrasted with and contained within hard edged geometric shapes; a desire to keep experimenting with printing techniques and processes; and a fascination with the monoprinting process as new complex shapes and colours emerge as each layer is added.

The vibrant and dynamic patterns and colours in these prints suggest flow and movement, resonating with the artist’s sense of journeying through space and time, evoking the richness and emotions of our life experiences.
